  • Caleb Foust - Senior Pastor

    Caleb is a firm believer that no 2 people should ever be strangers for long and he loves to listen to the stories about life from everyone he meets. Caleb Knows that the church can be at the heart of some of the deepest grief and hardest pain but when done authentically, can open the doors to some of the most uniquely beautiful healing the world needs. He believes that ministry is done best when it is seeking to ask deep questions about the way the world works and the role the church is filling. He enjoys spending time in historic downtowns and coffee shops with his wife Mary Beth and 2 daughters Ava and Eleanor.

  • Paul Danley - Associate Pastor for Music and Worship

    Paul is a native of Surry County and has a passion for people and rural ministry. He enjoys spending time with his family and dear friends, watching the Duke Blue Devils, and loves chicken and dumplings, coconut cake, and coconut pie. Paul is a graduate of North Surry High School, and Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Service in Atlanta, GA. He began his career in funeral service in 1995 as an embalmer at Moody Funeral Services, Inc. in Mount Airy and then, in January 1999, he began serving as a funeral director.

  • Brittany McKirryher - Associate Pastor for Children, Youth and Families

    Brittany believes the Church should be a safe place for all. She understands the importance of community and how every person we surround ourselves with becomes a part of our faith journey. She also knows that each individual undertakes their own unique path along a journey of faith. Brittany is a huge advocate for the understanding that the way we treat othersreflets our beliefs and our relationship with Christ. For Brittany, ministry is everyday contact and ongoing relationships with our neighbors. Brittany enjoys listening to and creating music as well as spending time with her husband, Randy and son, Carson.

  • Scottie Isaacs

    Scottie came to Piney Grove on July 1, 2009. He is a native of Surry County, graduated from North Surry High School. He worked in an assembly plant for 4 years, then served in the Military for two years including a tour in Vietnam in the Military Police. Scottie worked in textiles for 38 years before retiring in 2007 when his plant closed. Scottie is married to Jenny, and they have a son Greg, and a daughter Andrea. They have three grandchildren. In his spare time Scottie enjoys gardening, landscaping, and watching nascar races. Enjoys working with computers.

  • Dawn Marion - Worship Associate, Piano

    Dawn, is a retired math teacher and lifelong member of the Piney Grove Baptist Community. Dawn has been a member o the choir, a Sunday School teacher, nursery worker, co-director of the children’s Christmas program, youth minister and youth choir director. She is married to Myron and together they have 3 adult children (Andrew, and wife Chelene, John, and Emily.

  • Amanda Smith - Worship Associate, Organ

    Amanda is grateful for the gift of music given by God to the world and she finds comfort in the phrase, “Where words fail, music speaks”. She believes in the power of music in every part of life, and finds it especially helpful when connecting with God through worship. Amanda also teaches Social Studies at North Surry High School and is passionate about bluegrass music. She enjoys going to concerts and festivals, reading, and exploring historical sites. Amanda considers herself a lifelong learner and enjoys service through worship leadership.

  • Linda Johnson - Facilities Director

    A Surry County native and retired Teaching Assistant for Surry County Schools, Linda grew up in White Plains and has been a helper her entire life! Linda has carried many hobbies into her retirement such as cake decorating and Mary Kay consulting, as well as generally helping anyone she finds in need. Linda is the mother of 2 (Monica and Jeremy) and grandmother of 2 (Roe and Judy). She works hard each week to prepare the building and grounds for the many uses it sees throughout the week and has been a tad member of both the church family and staff team for many years!
